Mission Endowment Update
Greetings WJU!
We are pleased to announce that our 2010 Mission Banquet has already raised over $5K for our Global Missions Endowment Fund. Praise God! WJU Employees can now have monthly donations deducted directly from their paychecks (contact Daniel Gluck or Diane Kim for the form). Even a small amount like $25 a month ($12.50 per paycheck) adds up to $300 a year. We are excited to see how God continues to grow this fund and shape our vision for missions at WJU. Thank you for your continued partnership and have a great day,
Daniel Gluck & Global Missions Committee

Feed My Starving Children
Every day, thousands of children die from starvation! On Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th, a community-wide effort is taking place to package 270,000 meals for starving children in the world, including Haiti. Yes, more than a quarter of a million meals in two days! You can make a difference for these children by volunteering at this event. The food, specifically formulated for people who are malnourished, is provided by the Feed My Starving Children organization. You can go to their website at www.fmsc.org and actually see how one of these events work. Our job will be to assemble the meals together and prepare them for shipping.
This community-wide event is being held at Valley Springs Presbyterian Church located at 2401 Olympus Drive in Roseville (off of Douglas between Eureka and East Roseville Parkway). You can find more specific directions on the church’s website at www.valleysprings.org. It is important to be on time for your shift, even a few minutes early if possible.
