Announcing The Way 2010-2011 Auditions - New Date
The Way is a traveling vocal ensemble representing William Jessup University under the direction of Elizabeth Stanley. The group specializes in A Cappella repertoire performing genres of music from Renaissance to Jazz and Spirituals to Contemporary Worship. Membership in The Way encompasses students from a variety of majors, all excellent vocalists and instrumentalists, who serve The Lord, promote and advance the institution and delight their audiences.
Group requirements:
- maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
- be available for travel a minimum of two weekends per month
- be able to blend, harmonize and learn challenging music quickly
- make The Way a top priority
- be able to experience and lead worship in a variety of settings
- be a team player and a personality that “travels well”
Auditions will be held on
Thursday May 13 from 2:30-3:30 in the Lecture Hall. Music will be provided at the audition. Audition forms are available in the faculty offices from Emily Darlington. Additional information may be directed to Liz Stanley lstanley@jessup.edu
